PingTalks PingTalks

Editorial Policy and Corrections

PingTalks is a digital marketing and AI magazine for marketers, founders and agencies. We publish two articles every day: a morning news analysis and an evening practical guide. This page explains how we choose, research, write and correct what we publish.

Who edits PingTalks

PingTalks is edited by Kousik Bhattacharya, Founder and CEO of Clickseek Digital, a digital marketing and technology agency. Kousik has more than 18 years of experience in performance marketing, demand generation and growth, and is an IIM alumnus. Every article is reviewed and approved by him before it is published. You can find him on LinkedIn.

What we cover

We cover changes that affect how marketers work: Google Search and AI search, Google Ads, Meta, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, analytics, AI models and tools, automation, e-commerce and the creator economy. Our readers are in India and around the world.

How we choose stories

We pick stories by one test: will a marketer be able to do something better after reading this? We prioritise changes with a real deadline or real money at stake, and practical techniques readers can apply the same day. We avoid rewriting news that adds nothing new.

Sourcing and fact-checking

  • We use primary sources first: official company announcements, product documentation, changelogs, regulatory filings and on-record statements.
  • Every article draws on at least three sources, and every factual claim is checked against them before publication.
  • Every article ends with a list of the sources we used, linked so readers can verify them.
  • When something is reported but not confirmed by the company involved, we say so clearly.
  • We never invent quotes, statistics, features or dates. If a claim cannot be verified, we leave it out.

Analysis and opinion

Our articles separate what happened from what we think it means. Where we give a recommendation or verdict, it is labelled as our view and explained with reasoning.

How we use AI

PingTalks uses AI tools to help monitor news, research topics and prepare first drafts. AI does not publish anything on its own. A human editor reviews every draft for accuracy, sourcing, originality and usefulness, and decides whether it is published, changed or rejected. Responsibility for everything on PingTalks sits with our editor.

Images

Images are licensed stock photos (mainly from Pexels under its free licence) or our own graphics. We don’t use images that misrepresent the story.

Independence

Our articles are not sponsored. Companies cannot pay to be covered or to change what we write. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored at the top of the article.

Corrections policy

We aim to get things right first time. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and openly.

  • Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed.
  • Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date and what changed.
  • Minor fixes such as typos and broken links are made without a note.
  • When a story develops, we update the article and show the updated date.

If you spot an error, please contact the editor on LinkedIn with the article link and the correction. We review every report.
