Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data PingTalks (pingtalks.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. PingTalks is published by Clickseek Digital LLP, Bangalore, India. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe to the daily brief we store your email address, the topic you signed up from, and the date. We use it only to send you the newsletter.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to keep a record of corrections.
- Usage data. Our hosting, security and analytics providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure, measure readership and fix problems.
We do not ask for, or knowingly collect, sensitive personal data, and the site is not intended for children.
Cookies and local storage
PingTalks does not use advertising cookies. The site stores a few settings in your own browser (local storage), such as your light or dark theme, saved articles, followed topics and text size. They never leave your device. Our analytics provider may set its own cookies to count visits; you can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any article.
Service providers we use
- Hostinger (web hosting) and Cloudflare (content delivery, security and privacy-friendly web analytics)
- Google Fonts (typefaces loaded from Google’s servers)
- Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 (search and readership measurement)
- Pexels (licensed stock photography; images are hosted on our own server)
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep data
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and for our correction records. Server and security logs are kept for a limited period set by our providers.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent to the newsletter at any time, and raise a grievance. Write to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change and show the date at the top.
